Cua Spaces Plan Terms
Last Updated: October 15, 2026
These Plan Terms cover paid Cua Spaces plans (Pro and Teams). They add to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where they conflict, these Plan Terms win for paid Spaces plans. "Cua", "we" and "us" mean Cua AI, Inc. "You" means the person or company that buys the plan.
1. Plans
- Pro is for one person: $12 a month or $120 a year.
- Teams is for businesses: $30 per seat a month or $300 per seat a year, with a minimum of 3 seats and a maximum of 100 seats per team. You must buy Teams for a business, and checkout asks for a business name and a company tax ID.
- Free stays available with lower limits.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax (see section 6). What each plan includes is listed on our pricing page. We may add features to a plan at any time.
2. Seats (Teams)
- A seat lets one member of your team use Teams features. Members without a seat get only Free features.
- Team owners and admins invite members. People can't join a team without an invite.
- Adding seats: you pay a prorated amount for the rest of the current period. It is added to your next invoice.
- Removing seats: you get a prorated credit, applied to future invoices. We don't refund credits in cash. You can't go below 3 seats.
- Seats are changed in the billing portal (app.cua.ai, Billing, Manage billing).
3. Billing period and auto-renewal
- You choose monthly or yearly billing at checkout. Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period, for the same length and at the then-current price, until you cancel.
- We charge the payment method on file at the start of each period.
- For yearly plans, we email you before renewal.
- You can switch between monthly and yearly in the billing portal. The change applies with a prorated charge or credit.
4. Cancellation
- You can cancel at any time in the billing portal; no email or call is needed.
- Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. After that, your account (or your team) moves to Free.
- Pro customers can also cancel from their Link account at link.com.
5. Refunds
- Monthly plans: no refunds for partial months.
- Yearly plans: if you cancel within 14 days of the first yearly charge, we refund it in full. After 14 days, there are no refunds for the unused part of the year.
- Consumers (Pro): where local law gives you a right to withdraw or cancel with a refund, we follow it. When you buy Pro, you ask us to start the service at once.
- Our payment provider may also refund a payment under its own buyer-protection rules.
- If we end your plan without a breach by you, we refund any prepaid unused amount.
6. Taxes and who sells to you
- Pro is sold through Link (Stripe's merchant-of-record service). For the payment, Link is the seller and adds any sales tax, VAT or GST. Your receipt and card statement show Link (
LINK.COM* CUA). Payment and refund questions can go to Link support or to us. Cua still provides the service. - Teams is sold by Cua AI, Inc., and your card statement shows
CUA. We add sales tax, VAT or GST where we are required to collect it.- If you give a valid VAT or similar business tax ID, sales in the EU, UK and similar regions are reverse-charged: you account for the tax yourself.
- You are responsible for any tax you must self-assess or withhold. If you withhold tax, you pay us the full amount we would have received without it.
- Tax is shown at checkout before you pay.
7. Payment and failed payments
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We don't store your card details.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries it. Your paid features keep working for 14 days. If the payment still hasn't gone through by then, your account or team moves to Free until you pay. Your machines and data aren't deleted because of a failed payment (see section 11).
- Price changes: we give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the product. The new price applies from your next billing period. You can cancel before it does.
8. Usage limits and fair use
- Live remote sessions through the hosted relay:
- Pro: up to 2 at the same time;
- Teams: up to 2 for each paid seat, shared across the team (for example, 3 seats give 6);
- Free: 2.
- Audit history: 90 days on Pro and Teams (Teams includes Pro).
- Fair use: the plans are for normal interactive and agent use by your own people and agents. You may not resell or sublicense relay access, run the relay as a public proxy or VPN, or deliberately load it far beyond normal use. If your use harms the service or other customers, we'll contact you first where we can. We may then limit throughput or sessions until it's fixed.
- Spaces that run locally or connect directly (not through the relay) don't count toward relay limits.
9. Your machines (bring your own compute)
- Cua Spaces runs on computers you provide: your Macs and PCs, servers, or cloud accounts (for example AWS, Google Cloud, Modal). We don't rent you computers under these plans.
- You are responsible for those machines:
- their security, updates, backups and power;
- the operating system and software licences (including Apple's macOS licence terms, which limit macOS virtual machines per Mac);
- any charges from your own cloud provider;
- what you and your agents do on them.
- You are responsible for who you share a Space with and for the agents you connect. Anyone you share a Space with can see and act on it within the access you give.
- AI agents can make mistakes. Review what they do, especially before they act on accounts, money, production systems or other people's data.
10. The relay: what it can see
When you reach a machine through our hosted relay (relay.cua.ai), traffic goes from your device to the relay and then to your machine.
- The relay is a TLS-terminating proxy. It can read what passes through it while in transit: shell output, files, the desktop stream, keystrokes and clipboard.
- It does not record or store that traffic. It does not store your account tokens.
- Teleport session bundles are encrypted end to end to the destination machine on current images. Saved site passwords are not yet sealed: sending one over the relay needs your explicit confirmation each time.
- Local and direct connections don't go through the relay.
- Full details: What the relay can see.
11. Data and retention
- Contents of your machines and Spaces: stay on your machines. We don't hold a copy.
- Relay traffic: passes through the relay in memory only and is not stored.
- Relay logs: name machines, accounts and devices, never URLs, paths or traffic. Kept for 30 days.
- Account audit log (sign-ins, devices, sharing): kept by Cua, up to 5,000 entries per account. Pro and Teams show 90 days of history.
- Account and team membership: kept in our identity system while your account exists.
- Billing records: kept by Stripe (and Link for Pro) as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Product telemetry: anonymous, never contains your content, never linked to your account; you can turn it off. Retention at our analytics provider is as described in our docs.
After you cancel, your account stays on Free and your data stays as it is. If you delete your account, we delete your account and team data within 30 days, except billing records we must keep by law. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
12. Acceptable use
Don't use Cua Spaces to:
- break the law;
- access computers or accounts you're not authorised to use;
- send spam;
- run malware or attacks;
- get around other services' security or rate limits;
- infringe others' rights;
- harm minors;
- probe or disrupt our service or other customers.
The acceptable-use rules in our Terms of Service also apply. You are responsible for your users and agents following them.
13. Suspension
- We may suspend access right away if your use:
- breaks section 12;
- puts the service or others at risk;
- is required by law.
- For other problems (including non-payment after the grace period), we tell you first and give you a reasonable chance to fix them.
- We restore access when the problem is fixed.
Suspension affects our hosted services (relay, team features). It doesn't touch your machines.
14. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the relay will be uninterrupted or error-free. We have no uptime commitment for Pro or Teams.
15. Limitation of liability
- To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data.
- Each party's total liability under these Plan Terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This matches the cap in our Terms of Service.
- Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, or rights consumers have under their local law.
16. Changes to these terms
- We may update these Plan Terms. For changes that reduce your rights or raise your price, we give at least 30 days' notice, and the change applies from your next billing period. You can cancel before then.
- Other changes apply when we post them.
- The "Last Updated" date shows the current version.
17. Governing law
- These Plan Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and disputes go to the state or federal courts in Delaware, as in our Terms of Service.
- If you are a consumer, you also keep any protections that the law where you live gives you.
