Recover an interrupted first Fleet tutorial

Delete the dedicated pool from Your first Cloud Fleet without repeating its workload.

Use this guide only when Your first Cloud Fleet stopped after it printed a pool name but before you confirmed deletion. Do not rerun the tutorial to recover a handle. Creating another pool does not clean up the original capacity.

Delete the recorded pool#

  1. Restore valid Fleet credentials for the same account that created the pool.
  2. Copy the exact first-fleet-... name from the tutorial output.
  3. Open Fleet, find that exact pool, and confirm that it belongs to the interrupted tutorial run.
  4. Delete the pool. This requests deletion of its dedicated namespace, template, claims, and computer capacity.
  5. Refresh the account inventory until the exact pool name is absent.

An accepted deletion request can precede final removal. Until the pool is absent, its capacity can continue to incur usage charges. A 403 response does not prove absence; verify that you are using the original account and have permission to inspect the pool.

If the name was not printed, the create response was interrupted, or the pool's ownership is uncertain, follow Recover interrupted cleanup. That procedure covers inventory-based recovery without creating or reconciling resources.
