Install Lume, create a macOS Tahoe VM straight from Apple's restore image, and SSH into it.

lume --versionlume create macos-tahoe --ipsw latest --unattended tahoe--ipsw latest downloads the newest supported restore image (or pass a local
.ipsw; lume ipsw prints the URL). The tahoe preset prepares the guest
offline: user lume with password lume, SSH, autologin, no sleep or screen
lock. Creation boots once, checks SSH and leaves the VM stopped.
lume run macos-tahoeThe VM's desktop opens in Lume's viewer. From another terminal:
lume ssh macos-tahoe 'sw_vers; id -un'prints the guest's macOS version and lume. Change the password before using
the VM for anything sensitive.

lume stop macos-tahoe
lume delete macos-tahoe
