Install Cua Driver, connect your agent, and have it compute 6 × 7 in a desktop calculator.
Install Cua Driver on your computer and let your agent operate the calculator app, in the background.
1. Install and start the daemon. No administrator access needed.
/bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://cua.ai/driver/install.sh)"
open -n -g -a CuaDriver --args serve
cua-driver permissions grantStarting through the app bundle makes macOS attribute the prompts to
CuaDriver. Choose Open System Settings and switch CuaDriver on under
Accessibility and Screen & System Audio Recording; accept the relaunch.
Rerun cua-driver permissions grant if only one prompt appeared.
2. Check that it sees your apps (in a second terminal):
cua-driver call list_appsYou should see the GUI apps you have open. An empty list means the driver
cannot reach the desktop; run cua-driver doctor.
3. Connect your agent and ask. To set up every agent it finds at once
(skill and MCP server), run
curl -fsSL https://cua.ai/install.sh | sh -s -- --select cua-driver instead;
it also installs the cua CLI.
